I’m delighted to announce that this Easter, the musical "Power in His Touch" will once again be coming to a Salt Lake City stage.  Although it has been refreshing (and much needed!) to take a year off, the demand for another presentation of the play has been overwhelming.  The 2008 production will be directed by the exceptionally talented musician and actor, George Dyer.  The show will be presented in Salt Lake City three nights only, March 21st, 22nd, and 24th at Cottonwood High School.  All profits from ticket sales will go to the Utah Food Bank.

Our large cast includes more than 70 performers and will feature Jessie Clark Funk and Casey Elliott, both of whom have recently appeared as leads in National Broadway Tours.  Local favorite, Daniel Beck, will reprise his moving portrayal of the Savior.  For more information on the 2008 cast, please click here.

If you are unfamiliar with the show, "Power in His Touch" is a non-denominational musical that testifies of Jesus Christ’s love, compassion, and mercy.  The story is set in both modern and biblical times and is brought to life by a score of more than 30 original songs.  The play premiered in 2005 at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center to sold-out audiences with the Interfaith Hospitality Network as the designated charity to benefit.  David Osmond, Daniel Beck, Katrina Nelson, Kelly Griffiths, and Sterling Brimley were the leads at the premiere and revived their roles the following Easter at the same theatre.
