In response to the many requests for another solo piano CD, I’m very pleased to announce the release of my third album “Simple Pleasures”. It’s been eight years since the release of “Repose, Solo Piano by Colette Call”, so I was very happy to be in the studio again. The new CD features sixteen songs ranging from well-known favorites Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini (Somewhere in Time), Angel Eyes (Jim Brickman), The Very Thought of You, Reverie (Debussy), What a Wonderful World, Soon It’s Gonna Rain (The Fantasticks), and Meditation from Thais to newer melodies from the movies Pride and Prejudice and The Piano. Many of the songs are favorites of family and friends and each was a pleasure to perform, especially on such an incredibly beautiful piano! Also, I’d like to thank friends and fans for your continued support of "Power in His Touch". Last Easter marked the fourth stage production of the show and featured the largest cast yet (more than 70 performers) including Jessie Clark Funk and Casey Elliott, both of whom have appeared as leads in National Broadway Tours. The show was directed by the exceptionally talented musician and actor, George Dyer, and also featured local favorite, Daniel Beck, who reprised his moving portrayal of the Savior for the third time. As of last Easter, more than 10,000 audience members have seen the stage production!

For anyone unfamiliar with "Power in His Touch", the show is a non-denominational musical that testifies of Jesus Christ’s love, compassion, and mercy. The story alternates between modern and biblical times and is brought to life by a score of more than 30 original songs. The play premiered at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center to sold-out audiences with benefits going to the Interfaith Hospitality Network. The leads, David Osmond, Daniel Beck, Katrina Nelson and Kelly Griffiths brought the audience to their feet every night and revived their roles the following Easter at the same theatre.
